FELT CHRISTMAS TREE GAME | CRICUT

Create a fun game for the little ones using your Cricut machine, this felt game lets you constantly redecorate it, adding baubles and garlands where ever you like! Just hang it up and let the creativity flow!

You could also use this as a festive version of pin the tail on the donkey, just add a blindfold!

YOU WILL NEED:

-Cricut Maker and Explore Air 2

-12x12 Felt sheets

-Glue gun and glue

-Ribbon

STEP ONE:

To create this fun felt game first open up the project in Cricut Design Space. Then hit make it, now choose felt as the material that you would like to cut.

If you have the maker I recommend editing tools and choosing the rotary blade and pink fabric mat to cut felt.

STEP TWO:

Add your first felt sheet to the mat, using your brayer tool to ensure its well stuck down. Then load it into the machine and start the cut.

Repeat this process with all of the different colours of felt until all of the pieces are cut out.

STEP THREE:

To assemble the tree, gather all of the parts. Use a glue gun to glue the four overlapping tree pieces into place, then glue a piece of ribbon the back of the top of the tree so that it can hang.

Add the large yellow star to the top to finish.

The rest of the pieces don't need to be glued, like fuzzy felt, the felt will cling on to the felt decorations, which means you can have lots of fun redecorating the tree whenever you like with the garlands and baubles!

Now hang your tree and get ready to decorate! This is even more fun for older children if you pop blindfolds on and see who can do the best decoration job!
