Hello Crafty Friends! Laura here to share with you today. As always, when I received my Glittery Hands Box I was drawn to the sparkly bits first!
I’ve used the glitter as the main feature of this layout.I mixed some into some texture paste and squashed it through a star stencil. I added a layer of glossy accents to some of the wooden stars from StickerKitten and drenched them in glitter too. Once they glossy accents had dried (I left it for a few hours) I dusted off the excess glitter and ta-da – sparkly stars. Most types of glue will work for this technique; I prefer glossy accents as it flows easily over the surface so I know I will have no bare wood showing... we want as much glitter as possible!
I cut a few arrows and a unicorn from the GHB exclusive papers, and added paper layers behind my photo including some of the StickerKitten paper.
I used a giant roller stamp to add a title. I’m not confident enough to stamp straight on to the layout so I stamp of card and trim them in to strips. This also helps them to stand out and not get lost in the background stars.
That’s all for this post. I have already started on my second make. Those hot air balloons? The clouds? The puffy paint? Yes please!!
