Hi craft lovers!
I’m in love with the tiger print paper that’s in the July Box, its so bright and fun! I decided to make a personalised card for my nephew using this paper and then used the leftovers to create a second happy birthday card.
To make the cards you will need
July box
5” x 7” card blank
Scissors / cutting board
Double sided tape
Glue
Craft foam
To make the first card (portrait)
Cut a 5” x 7” rectangle from both the pink metallic card and the tiger print paper
Cut the rectangles in a diagonal to create two triangles
Stick 1 pink triangle & 1 tiger print triangle to your card base using double sided tape
Cut a rectangle from the green metallic card that is slightly bigger than the ‘Stay Wild Baby’ card from your July box
Use double sided tape stick the ’Stay Wild Baby’ card to the green metallic card and then use the foam to attach to your card base
Spell out your message at the bottom of the card using the word tiles from your craft box
Now you can use your leftover triangles to make a landscape card!
Turn a 5” x 7” card blank so the fold is at the top then stick on your pink triangle and tiger print triangle using double sided tape
Cut a length of wool, from your box, slightly longer than the card and stick down along the middle of your card (along where the 2 triangles meet)
Next use the 2 cut out strips of parrot paper from your box and add the gold glitter foam letters to spell out Happy Birthday
Cut the strips so they are different lengths (making sure to leave a gap after the word)
Add on flower sequins using glue
