DIY Rainbow Twine Bookmark

Hi crafty friends! I love rainbows! They just make me happy!

This book mark was so fast and easy to make. Sometimes I want a project that I can sit in front of the T.V. and work on.

My daughter wanted a project to help me with, so I had her paint the bookmark with the yellow paint which came in the box. She was a little messy so when she was done I just smoothed some of the runs out. It was a little hard not to get paint into the holes but with a needle I poked the paint out before it was dry.

I went through my thread and pulled out the colors of the rainbow and did half cross stitches (not sure if that is the correct name). I started every row on the opposite side to make a fun little pattern.

I fussy cut a rainbow and a couple clouds and adhered them to the bottom.

I used the rainbow ribbon which came in the box for the top of the bookmark.

My daughter loved this bookmark and its perfect for her to use for school soon.

Thanks for stopping by today! Crystal
