Hey crafters! Laura here today with a video showing how I decorated the ceramic star ornament in the December box...
I’ve used a collection of water-based shimmery mists from my stash in darker colours with a black layered over the top to give a galaxy effect. As the mists come in spray bottles there is no fancy rush work involved – just a quick squirt and the bottle does all the work for you!

When the colours were dry added some splatters of white, gold and silver ink to represent the stars. The white and gold show up much better than the silver so I grabbed my silver gel pen and went over some of the silver splatters. I also added a few feature stars in the liquid pearl paint from the December box.
To finish off I added the tassel and a pretty ribbon hanger. The tassel was much longer originally and overtook the star. I carefully trimmed it down... it took a few snips to even out the bottom but once it was level it looked as if it had always been a little tassel.
