DIY 80s Inspired Painted Easter Eggs

With easter fast approaching, I wanted to share some easter DIY's with you. These ceramic eggs from Hobbycraft are perfect for painting and decorating the house with this weekend.

I decided to go for an 80's inspired feel to the patterns I painted onto my eggs, sticking with pink, blue and orange for my colour scheme as these bring both the easter and 80's vibes.

I got this little kit from hobbycraft which came with the eggs, paint and a mini brush. Everything I needed to create my 80's eggs!

Painting onto the ceramic eggs is easy, with no prep required. I used a mix of brush strokes, dots and squiggles to crete the effect I wanted.

I think they've turned out super stylish and will look great hung up around the house or to decorate the easter table.

How are you decorating eggs for easter this year?
