Here are my absolute must-haves for the Cricut Joy, everything from the tools you'll need to some materials to get you started!
Cricut Joy comes with a mat and a pen in the box alongside the machine and blade, but there are some must-haves I would recommend to get you started!

TOOL SET:
This is an absolute must, all three of these tools are ones you are going to use time and time again. The weeding tool is an absolute must for working with iron-on and vinyl. The scraper tool will help your keep your mats clean and help you apply vinyl. It's the perfect trio!
CARD MAT:
The card mat is one of the coolest features of Cricut Joy, it means you can make super quick cards whilst running out the door! I would grab a couple of these!
JOY BAG:
Joy is great because it's so portable, and this bag makes it even easier to carry around. Not only does everything fit perfectly, but it also looks super cute!
GLITTER PENS:
Cricut joy has different sized pens to the Maker and Explore machines, they come in loads of different colours and styles to add a little something to your projects. I personally love the glitter pens, but I would definitely recommend getting yourself some extra pens to play with!
SMART IRON ON:
Smart materials mean that you don't need to use a mat, which makes cutting longer projects a dream. I'd recommend grabbing some smart iron-on and some smart vinyl to have a play with!
