MAKE YOUR OWN POP-UP CARD | CRICUT

Pop up cards are my new fave thing to make! I used to make a lot of pop up books as a child, so this making this gave me major throwback vibes!

Pop up cards are so easy to make on your Cricut machine, they add such a cool touch to a card and make it even more special to send in the post!

I used the fruit pop up card design from Cricut Design Space to make this card and edited it to slightly to my liking by removing a couple of the pieces.

YOU WILL NEED:

-Tape roller or glue pen

STEP ONE:

Search for and the card #M274C4C7 to the canvas. Edit away any pieces you don't want, I removed the squiggly line.

Head to 'make it' and choose medium cardstock as your cut setting.

STEP TWO:

Lay each colour of cardstock into the machine and start cutting. You will also need to load your scoring tool for any of the pieces that require scoring.

STEP THREE:

Once all of the pieces have cut, start glueing the cut card pieces together. Start with the bottom piece and work upwards. Leave the main card pieces until last.

STEP FOUR:

Fold all of the scored lines and assemble all of the pieces together to create your pop up card, the fruit bunch will sit nicely on the pop-out pieces of the main card so that they pop out when the card is opened!

STEP FIVE:

Assemble the envelope, write your message and pop your pop up card in the post to a friend!
