DIY KINDNESS FELT JACKET PATCHES | CRICUT

Updated: Oct 1, 2021

I love making my own felt patches from felt and iron-on, it's such an easy and cute way to personalise a jacket!

I'm also loving a red and pink colour scheme lately, so I absolutely had to use that for this project, and it works perfectly with the kindness theme of these patches too!

YOU WILL NEED:

-Cricut Maker or Explore

-Pink felt

(Felt, Summer Sky Sampler https://shrsl.com/36nx1)

-Pink, Red and White Iron-on

-Easy Press or Easy Press Mini

(Easy Press 2 Raspberry 9x9 https://shrsl.com/353br)

MY DESIGN SPACE PROJECT:

STEP ONE:

First, open up the project in Cricut Design Space. Then a sheet of felt onto the mat and load it into the machine to cut on the felt setting.

STEP TWO:

Next cut the iron-on sheets, lay each sheet face down onto the mat and cut on the iron-on setting. Repeat the process until you have all of the different coloured iron-on sheets cut.

Now cut around the iron-on designs then weed each one leaving just the design on the clear carrier sheet.

STEP THREE:

Use the Easy Press Mini to press each iron-on piece onto its corresponding felt piece.

To layer the iron-on pieces, press the bottom layer first, then wait until cooled and remove the carrier sheet.

Once complete stitch them onto your jacket of choice!
