I love watching Christmas movies, I'd probably say it's my fave movie genre! The cheesier the better! So I had to create a dedicated mug for my Christmas movie watching marathons!
Perfect for Hot chocolates or a mulled wine in pyjamas!
YOU WILL NEED:
-Cricut Smart Vinyl in Mint and Light Pink
-Cricut Standard grip transfer tape

STEP ONE:
First, open up my project above in Cricut design Space. Resize the image to fit the circumference of your mug.
Next load the smart vinyl face up into your Cricut Joy machine. Set the material setting to Smart vinyl permanent start cutting.
STEP TWO:
Once the machine has finished cutting, remove the vinyl from the machine. Carefully cut around your design so that you can use the remaining vinyl another time.
Next, take your weeding tool and carefully remove all of the excess vinyl leaving only the images on the backing sheet.
Repeat for the second colour of vinyl.
STEP THREE:
Next, take a piece of transfer tape and lay it onto of your design, then scrape both sides of the vinyl.
Leave the vinyl for a few minutes before carefully peeling back the transfer tape layer, making sure that the design is stuck to it as you pull it away from the carrier sheet.
Now put that design over the top of the second colour, transferring that onto the transfer tape so that your whole design is now ready to transfer in one go.
Stick your design in place onto your mug, then give a really good scrape with the scraper tool to sure that the design is well stuck down.
Then peel back the transfer tape on itself as flat as you can, leaving your design behind on the mug.
Now fill with your fave festive drink, and pop on your fave Christmas movie!
