CRAFTY STORAGE SOLUTIONS

Updated: Jan 11, 2023

Looking to freshen up the craft room with a spring clean and get organised? I have some fab storage suggestions for you!

CRICUT TOOL ORGANISER

The Cricut Machine Tool Holder is a great way to keep all of your blades and tools safe and organised in one space... and it looks FAAAANCY!

This tool holder will allow easy access to everything you need for your projects and keep them protected from damage.

CRICUT ACCESSORY POUCH

Alternatively, there's the Cricut accessory pouch, a really cute way to store all your tools safely, and have them on display! This lilac pouch folds over so you can access your tools easily.

CRICUT JOY TOTE

The Cricut Joy tote is not only the cutest little bag, it's also rather stylish! It is a grey and turquoise bag that is padded to keep your Joy machine super safe. It slots in perfectly and has a compartment for your plug, pens and tools. On the back it has a pocket too for all of your Joy mats so you can keep everything safe and together for when you're ready to craft. Perfect for on the go crafting!

EASY PRESS BAGS

Speaking of crafting on the go, have you seen the Easy Press bags? These fab bags are great for keeping your Easy Press safe and even have a carry handle so you can take it on the go.

They come in a variety of sizes including:

9 x 9 " 6 x 7 " and 12 x 10 " (just click on each size for the link to buy)!

But what about the Easy Press Mini I hear you cry! Although there's not an official Easy Press mini tote, there is a super cool one I found on Amazon. It has a little mesh pocket at the top for your holder and cables and seems like a nice sturdy carry case to take on your travels.

IKEA VINYL HOLDER

We all love a bit of Ikea right?! Did you know the Ikea Variera, yes the plastic bag holder, is perfect for storing vinyl? This handy little hanging storage will fit 14 rolls of vinyl and is just £2!

IKEA CRAFT CARTS

While we are celebrating our love for Ikea, let me introduce you to RÅSKOG, everyone's favourite rolling craft tote. Originally designed for kitchens, the RÅSKOG tote has become a craft room favourite, so much so Hobbycraft, The Range and other high street stores sell similar trolleys and We R Memory Keepers have brought out accessories for them!

It has 3 shelves which are quite deep to fill to the brim with crafting goodies. Whether you've got Cricut bits and bobs, paper crafting, sewing or love Mixed Media, this trolley is going to be your new craft room best friend!

If you have a smaller space, the Raskog has a little brother called RÅSHULT which you can shop for here.

PEG BOARDS AND MAT HOOKS

A huge trend last year was to adorn your Craft Room walls in peg boards. They're sold in quite a few places now with matching accessories to get organised but not take up room on your desk. But did you know you could get hooks that fit the peg boards, for your Cricut mats?

The hooks are 3D printed by very clever people on Etsy and there are a few sellers but here's one to check out. Not grabbed a peg board yet? Check out the Ikea version here.

CRICUT MACHINE BAG

Hoping to take your Cricut machine on your travels this year? This awesome bag is suitable for the Cricut Air and the Cricut Maker - and all your supplies too! There's so many pockets and pouches to pop all your tools and vinyl in, and it even comes with a vertical strap to pop on top of a wheeled case. It has straps on the inside too, to make sure your machine is nice and snug.

Check out the machine bags on Amazon here!

HOBBYCRAFT CADDY

Organise your ephemera, stickers, beads and more with these super cute caddies from Hobbycraft! Suitable for a variety of hobbies, this caddy has little compartments for lots of bits and pieces you want to keep safe. It has two folding trays and then a deeper section in the bottom for bulkier items.

I hope this helps you get inspired to tackle the craft room and get organised!
