4 EASY STEPS TO CLEAN YOUR CRICUT MATS-HANDY GUIDE

Want to revive your Cricut mats and bring back their stick? It's time to give them a spa day!

This will work for any Cricut mats for any machine.

STEP ONE:

First, use a scraper tool to remove any big bits of debris from the mat.

STEP TWO:

I like to do this in the bath so I have lots of room. Run a shallow bath using warm water and washing up liquid. Pop the mats in to soak for ten minutes.

STEP THREE:

Carefully rub the mats with fingertips to remove debris, don't scrub too hard or use a scrubber for this as you don't want to remove the sticky layer.

STEP FOUR:

Once clean, Leave mats to dry indoors, as they dry the stickiness is reactivated. Make sure to keep them inside so that they don't attract dust.

Remember that mats are a consumable item and will eventually lose their stick and need to be replaced.

Always pop the clear protective sheet back onto your mat once finished to protect the mat from any fibres and dust.
